MA-MA-MA BELLE / SHOWDOWN 'AND VOODOO SCIENCE CONTINUE CHART CLIMB
The new 3kStatic single 'Ma-Ma-Ma Belle' / 'Showdown' feat. Parthenon Huxley and the album Voodoo Science continue their strong chart debut in just the second day of digital release.
Rising today to #5 (Leftfield and IDM) at eMusic, the EP also is now also charting at #142 on the Rock chart and #21 (Electronic Ambient). At dance music retailer PlayItTonight.com, 'Showdown' remains at #2 on the Ambient chart, while 'Ma-Ma-Ma Belle' is charting #6 (Downtempo).
The album release Voodoo Science moves to #6 (Leftfield and IDM) and also surges 80 spots on the Rap chart to #60 on the strength of 'Groove at the Point of a Breakdown, Pt. 2' feat. Kasuf & The Mazz Muvement and Professor Griff, making Voodoo Science the first 3kStatic release to chart on the electronic, rap, rock and alternative charts.
In addition, the single 'Counterprogramming' feat. Greg X. Volz remains a very solid #20 for the week at eMusic (Leftfield) and a sizzling #2 on the PlayItTonight Downtempo Chart. Brisk sales are also reported at iTunes, particularly across Europe.
The 3kStatic home label dPulse Recordings is currently charting as the #1 selling label at PlayItTonight in both the Downtempo and Breaks genres.
